We do Private Walking Tours of the Historical Walking Areas of the beautiful city of Victoria, BC, Canada.

We promote travel that broadens your experiences and your thoughts. We focus on in-destination experiences--not travel packages or flights: We want to help you find out what to do once you get to our beautiful city.

Truly immersing yourself in a different culture and history is one of the most enriching, mind expanding, awareness enhancing investments you can make with both your time and your money... and great fun: Our goal is to help you do precisely that.

We believe that the best way to enjoy travel, is by watching the local life really closely: as if seeing through the eyes of locals.

And we know that the easiest way to do is choosing engaging, fun local guides passionate about showing you their local culture & attractions.

VictoriaBCWalkingTours is a company built with you in mind by experienced tour guides who know truly and deeply how much travelers miss just traveling on their own without a local guide.

Guidebooks and other travel aids are usually written by foreigners and for foreigners, stereotyping the traveler's experiences. Ask a local guide and they will tell you how painfully distorting these guidebooks are--no matter how good their intention: to put it shortly, foreign writers and editors simply can't understand local idiosynchrasy. Just think about a foreigner trying to explain in writing the personality of your family (or your city, or your country).

Our mission then, is to enable you to find and share in the uniqueness of our local culture!
